CASH REWARD OFFERED – SEXUAL ASSAULT

On Friday, July 28, 2017, an 83-year-old female from Dumont was the victim of a sexual assault at approximately 5:30 AM. The attack occurred in the rear parking lot area of the Korean Community Church, 147 Tenafly Road. The investigation has found thus far that the victim was followed through the parking lot of St. Cecilia's Church towards 147 Tenafly Road. As she walked along, a Hispanic male, possibly in his 30’s, approximately 5’6” in height, grabbed and tackled her to the ground in a doorway. The attached video (SuspectV3) only shows a portion of the attack as the entire video is too graphic for public viewing. The male was wearing some type of backpack, drawstring backpack or shoulder strap backpack, light-colored pants and dark shoes with light-colored soles. The male stopped the attack and calmly walked away (SuspectV1) when the victim was able to wave down a passing vehicle (SuspectV2). The woman received minor injuries.
