Teaneck PD

Press Release: Home Invasion Robbery

On Friday, January 12, 2024, at approximately 3:01 P.M., multiple units from the Teaneck Police Department responded to the 100 block of Tryon Avenue on a 911 call reporting a home invasion in progress. Police on scene located four aduh victims who had been assaulted and restrained against their will while inside the residence. The investigation revealed that earlier in the day, three male actor(s) entered the residence through a rear door and brandished two firearms. The actors bound and assaulled the
victims while stealing personal belongings and fled prior to police arrival. The victims suffered minor injuries and were treated on scene by members of the Teaneck
Volunteer Ambulance Corps. This is an active investigation by the members of Teaneck Police Department, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Bergen County Sheriffs Department. Law Enforcement is currently investigating and exploiting all active leads.
